VAH (Association for Applied Hygiene) provides the certification for mark of quality to various chemical disinfectants marketed in Germany. In order to obtain this certification for your products, VAH requires specific efficacy tests to be done according to the VAH method and requirements. Generally, VAH methods are almost similar to the EN standards, therefore most VAH methods have their respective EN standard equivalent that VAH has deemed acceptable but with the necessary alterations incorporated in the test so it fully complies to the VAH requirements.
The table below lays out the suitable tests TECOLAB can offer for you to be VAH-certified for each field of application. Bactericidal and yeasticidal activities are the minimum spectrum of activity required in order to obtain VAH certifications for disinfectants. For deeper understanding of each of the following test methods, check them out here.
