- General disinfection
- Teat disinfection
These are the obligatory test organisms:
- Candida albicans
- Aspergillus brasiliensis (not required for teat disinfection and yeasticidal efficacy only)

The obligatory contact time by the test method differs based on product application or can be chosen based on manufacturer’s recommendation.
- General disinfection: 30 minutes
- Teat disinfection: 5 minutes (post-milking) or 30 seconds (pre-milking)
The obligatory test temperature by the test method is 10°C for general disinfection or 30°C for teat disinfection.

These are the available soiling conditions according to the test method.
For general disinfection:
- Low level soiling: 3.0 g/L bovine serum albumin
- High level soiling: 10.0 g/L bovine serum albumin + 10.0 g/L yeast extract
For teat disinfection:
- 10.0 g/L reconstituted skimmed milk
