Step 1: Is your product a hand hygiene product?

This in-house test method is designed for hand hygiene product and skin antiseptics.

Step 2: Select your test microorganisms

Our in-house test method allows your to explore a wide range of virus for testing. Some of our popular requests have been:

  • Human coronavirus
  • Vaccinia virus
  • Influenza A virus (H3N2)

Step 3: Select an appropriate residual time and contact time for your test product

Residual Time is the exposure duration of product on in-vitro skin model after application. This represents how long the product is exposed on the end user’s hands after application.

Contact Time is the exposure duration of product on in-vitro skin model to virus. This represents the kill time of the applied product against newly exposed virus on the end user’s hands.

With our standard price, you are able to choose one of the following combination for request:

  1. 4 residual times and 1 contact time
  2. 1 residual times and 4 contact times
  3. 2 residual times and 2 contact times
Step 4: Select a test concentration for your test product

Test concentration is pre-determined by manufacturers.

Step 5: Place an order and send your sample to us

Fill in the test request form and place an order via email at info@tecolab-global.com. We will advise on the quantity of sample required for testing.

You can deliver the sample to us via courier and provide us the tracking code. We will monitor the delivery status and inform you when we receive the sample.

Step 6: Track the status of your request

Once we have received your sample, we will provide a tracking number to you. You can easily track the status of your request here.

Step 7: Download your password-protected test report

Download your readily available test report online with just a single click using the link and password provided via email notification. We will receive a notification once you have downloaded the test report.

For safety purposes, the uploaded test report will self-destruct after 7 days.

Step 8: Analyze your passing criteria in the test report with our laboratory experts

There is no specific passing criteria in this in-house test method. This in-house test method allows customers to measure the residual virucidal efficacy of their product within a residual period of interest.
